Summary of Abacus Turn-Key Data Center Relocation Services

1. Schedule – Confirm target equipment, downtime window, and dates for relocation.
2. Improve – As needed, Abacus provides services and products to reduce customer’s footprint through optimization, consolidation, and virtualization.
3. Confirm – Prior to agreed schedule, Abacus will initiate a conference call with customer to review and agree to data center relocation details.
4. Arrive – Abacus W-2 system engineer(s) arrive as scheduled and customer provides proper access to data center.
5. Inspect – Abacus confirms target equipment condition. Target equipment issues will be documented and Abacus’ responsibility for agreed issues waived.
6. Backup – Abacus and customer perform proper backup of data on target equipment.
7. Pack – Abacus shuts down, removes, and then packs target equipment securely.
8. Support/During – As needed Abacus will provide hardware maintenance support for turn-key relocation. Abacus is responsible for bringing target equipment to destination location in the same condition as was confirmed at the start location.
9. Sell/Dispose – As needed, Abacus will purchase surplus equipment and/or make arrangements to dispose of no value equipment on customer’s behalf.
10. Outsource ITaaS – As needed Abacus can be the destination location with our IT as a Service hosting support offerings.
11. Transport – Abacus transports target equipment from start location to destination at agreed day and time.
12. Install – Abacus installs target equipment at destination location at agreed day and time.
13. Support/Immediately After – As needed immediately after install Abacus will be available to troubleshoot target equipment at destination location.
14. Support/Going Forward – As needed, Abacus is available for maintenance support of target hardware moving forward.
15. Options – As need Abacus will simplify your IT infrastructure by providing products, support, and solution around the customer’s server, storage, security, and networking environments.
