The Abacus Disaster Recovery as a Service with a Start Recovery time of less than 24 hours is a tape-based, “cold,” traditional disaster recovery solution. Abacus works as your outsourced partner to test and document a recovery plan so in the event of a disaster, your business will be ready to act.
If and when you have a planned or unplanned outage, you deliver your most recent data storage media to Abacus and we'll recover it for you according to the pre-tested plan. You'll then have up to 30-days of unrestricted access to an Abacus provided secondary environment while you work to get your Production environment back up and running.
